The Brat Stop opened in 1961 and is located just five minutes over the Wisconsin/Illinois border and over 450,000 visitors per year visit this unofficial 'Gateway to Wisconsin'. They special in regional cuisine featuring their famous bratwurst and a variety of cheese dishes. Brat Stop's Cheese Mart and Gift Shop lets visitors take home brats, cheese, and light-hearted Wisconsin related memorabilia. In 1998 the Parkway Chateau was added. Their premiere banquet facility features meeting halls for private and corporate events that will accommodate from 6 to 600 guests at one time!
