Birchwood Foods was founded in 1936 by Frank Vignieri after he borrowed $35 from his wife’s cookie jar to start a meat packing company. Today, Birchwood Foods continues to be a privately held, family owned business run by 3rd generation family member Dennis Vignieri. It’s built on a foundation of strong family values. The company has grown to over 1,000 employees with four manufacturing facilities in three states; Wisconsin, Ohio and Georgia. For over eight decades Birchwood Foods has specialized in supplying protein products to restaurant and retail chains.
