The Kenosha Yacht Club is one of the oldest organizations in Kenosha, originally chartered in 1912.  Between 1912 and 1946, the club met at various locations. In 1946, the club leased the current property from the City of Kenosha. Since then, the Kenosha Yacht Club has been home to boaters and families.  We are dedicated to boating, sailing, youth development, lake preservation, water safety and socializing. The Kenosha Yacht Club is home to "Buccaneer-18 Fleet 15" as well as an active PHRF (Performance Handicap Racing) keel boat fleet.

Many of today's Kenosha Yacht Club members do not boat, yet they see the Kenosha Yacht Club as the perfect place to meet and socialize with old and new friends all year round.
