Position Title: Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
Employment Type: Part-time, permanent
Hours: 20-25 hours per week (flexible schedule within business hours)
Reports to: President
Salary Range: $14 - $15 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to support our organization’s events, initiatives, and daily operations. This role will be responsible for front desk reception, member services, and administrative tasks across various programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for Chamber events and initiatives (e.g., Expo, Directory, Golf Classic, Fishing Outing, Annual Meeting).
  • Oversee the new member onboarding process and handle related communications.
  • Manage member invoicing, process invoices, and record payments in the CRM system.
  • Assist the President with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Coordinate logistics for Leadership Kenosha, including registration, site selection, and meal arrangements.
  • Administer the Scholarship Application process, serving as the main point of contact with the Scholarship Committee.
  • Process EssCerts (Electronic Certificates of Origin) accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, and answer phone calls professionally.
  • Maintain office supplies and support other general office operations as required.

 Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and ability to adapt to new tasks (training provided for the right candidate).
