The Baby U/Preschool U Lead Teacher is a part-time, non-exempt position in the RecPlex Youth Department. Under the general supervision of the Youth Services Assistant Manager, the primary responsibility is to implement age-appropriate curriculum and to provide a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment for children. Baby U / Preschool U hours run Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with schedule availability either for AM (7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) or PM (12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.) shifts or some full-day shift options available. Some evenings and occasional weekends may be required for events/training.

This role would primarily support our 2½–3-year-old classroom, Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
