The DPW Parks Landscaper reports to the Parks Crew Lead and the Parks Director. The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain the green spaces, landscape, and parks within the Village of Pleasant Prairie Community.

Some of the duties of this position are, but not limited to: operating various equipment such as a lawnmower, weed trimmer, hedge trimmer, bed edger, brush chipper pick-up truck, tractor; effectively using manual maintenance equipment such as a shovel, rake, hoe, pole saw, broom, etc.; installing landscape gardens and maintenance of existing landscape gardens; maintenance of parks and municipal facilities; painting of building exteriors and interiors; roadside mowing and pickup; preventative maintenance on parks equipment; and cleaning of Park restrooms/facilities. This position assists with snow removal during the winter months.
