Kenosha Area Chamber members: Absolute Computer Systems is offering a no-cost Cyber Security Risk Assessment for small to medium-sized businesses.

This offer is designed to help local business owners identify operational, cybersecurity, stability, and speed-related risks before they turn into downtime, disruption, or expensive problems.

Whether your business runs on a single computer or a larger network with up to 50 users, workstations, or endpoints, this assessment is designed to give you a clearer picture of where you stand, what was found, and which issues matter most first. Multi-location businesses are welcome, though this no-cost offer covers one location or one network environment.

There is no requirement to change IT providers, sign a service contract, or commit to ongoing services in order to receive this assessment.

How it works:

1. In-person consultation and walkthrough – The process begins with a brief 15–20 minute person-to-person conversation, required paperwork, and a visual walkthrough of your office or working environment.
2. Technical assessment – From there, Absolute Computer Systems performs an in-depth assessment of one computer environment or one business network environment. This may uncover things like outdated operating systems, missing security patches, weak password practices, missing or poorly configured MFA, exposed remote access risks, backup gaps, antivirus or endpoint protection weaknesses, risky firewall or network configurations, user permission issues, and email-security weaknesses.
3. Findings and next steps – You will receive a written report in plain English outlining what was found, what it means, recommended next steps, and which issues should be addressed first, second, and later. Findings are prioritized as Immediate Attention, Important but Not Urgent, and Longer-Term Improvements.

Once scan access is made available, Absolute Computer Systems typically delivers findings and recommendations within 10 business days.

If the assessment uncovers items that should be corrected or improved, Absolute Computer Systems will offer to help you prioritize and implement those recommendations.
